This book has sections on test taking strategies, fluid and electrolyte balance. The basics and beyond. Most everything you need to competently care for your patients.
This book is my #1 choice for review.

Customer Review: I bought this in the Fall of 2009 and took the test at the end of December 2009. I studied for the entire month of December - some days as much as 10 hours. The review guide was helpful in the Vocabulary/Reading Comprehension and Math sections. It at least was a good review and gave you good examples of what to expect. The Science section is greatly lacking, though. At the most, maybe 10% of what was on the test was covered in the study guide. Also, beware of wrong answers in the book and the disc used to take online practice tests. You can work around it but it is annoying!

Customer Review: the book is a really good "test bank" to get you ready for a test but does not have an answer key...all it has are page numbers of where to find the answer (which have not always been 100% correct) not worth the money I spent on it!

Customer Review: this is a very handy thing to own. While it by no means REPLACES A TEXTBOOK OR YOUR INSTRUCTOR, it provides quick at-a-glance information everything from various collection techniques for different specimens, to where to auscultate lungs, to where to place EKG leads... its very good in a pinch, and i don't plan on loosing this book anytime soon.
