Customer Review: This book was an excellent read. All the complicated jargon was kept to a minimum, and the medical/legal terms were fully explained. Although the book skips around in time, the story was easy to follow. I don't usually read books in one sitting, since leisure time is short, but this book was devoured in only a few hours. Skloot's first book is a real winner, and I can't wait to read her next work. Great job!

Customer Review: Like his other books, Dr. Gawande has once again written a compelling book. It is interesting for me (in healthcare quality/safety) and I think it would be others not in healthcare. I wasn't sure that a whole book could be written about a checklist but he did it and it was interesting. I have a whole new appreciation for construction, aviation and how the lessons learned can be applied to any important efforts in our life.

Customer Review: This book has helped me tremendously with my Masters studies in Forensic Sciences. i don't think I would have made it through Pathology without it. It is full of information, but luckily is not as heavy or as big as an encyclopedia. The CD is also a very good addition to the mix. Well worth the money.

Customer Review: This coloring book is so helpful if you are a visual person. I am in an undergraduate anatomy class and we work on cadavers and this book really helps me learn anatomy. The pictures are so well drawn. It has more information then I need but I will save it for medical school. It is very well organized into the different body systems. I definately recommed it to anyone studying anatomy.

Customer Review: Nice book. Mostly internal medicine. Wish it gives a more comprehensive coverage on ambulatory medicine also. I did not find much on basic surgical topics. I couldn't find stye or cold sore on the book. Either that, or maybe I just can't find it.
