Customer Review: The first chapter of this book, The Adolescent Genome, is printed at the end of The Root of Thought and has such a similar pretentious-and-at-the-same-time-informal style that it might have been written by the same author. The odd and often imprecise language effectively discouraged me from wanting to read any more of it. Here are some examples:

Customer Review: This book was recommended by my anatomy professor. Thinking it might be helpful for gross anatomy lab, I bought it here on amazon rather than for a heftier price at the school bookstore. It arrived very quickly and is in brand new condition. After going through it, I plan on keeping it for reference through the rest of my undergraduate studies as well as med school. It's very well organized and helpful to see so many different angles of each muscle, bone, etc. Great find!

Customer Review: learning about the human body can be quite a challenge for someone - i know i struggled to understand how bits fit together as i am a visual person, so finding this book which educates me but helps me remember by coloring in body parts has soooooooooooooooo helped me with my studies and i am more comfortable when massaging customers and they ask me questions

Customer Review: This book was the worst purchase I ever made. Everything I read was something I already knew. No tricks, no shortcuts, no pneumonics.....Nothing!! What a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!! I am really disappointed in KAPLAN for creating such a huge waste of paper. I wouldnt recommend this book to anyone!!
