Customer Review: I have been using this since residency - still prefer it to epocrates. I do also use Epocrates, but I like having this in my coat pocket.

Customer Review: Good description of drugs and how they work. I like this book much better than the Kee's pharma book we used in nursing school.

Customer Review: The updated print copy is great, the CD however is lacking compared to the "Old" CD, there seem to be common missing drugs from the database, when you register the CD it has more content, I'm a home health RN

Customer Review: Had to purchase this book for pharmacy school. This seems to be a pretty nice book. Lots of good pictures and diagrams and fairly thorough explanations. It was a required text but I am not disappointed as I have referred to it numerous times.

Customer Review: I have used this drug handbook for over 20 years both while working in the hospital and now in an out-patient clinic and it keeps getting better. Much simpler/quicker to use than others recommended by nursing schools/instructors. Even the doctors use it. The chief physician of the division specifically requested this book for use in our clinic, so much that he even paid for them!

Customer Review: I needed the book for a course online, and ordered the book long before the time. But it came within the week! An excellent book, well written and lots of exercises allowing one to get the gist of the matter.
Well worth the money!

Customer Review: Like many other people already stated, this book contains a high amount of errors. There is also one answer in the "Final Exam" on the back that has the wrong letter but the correct answer in the description. For an important test such as the PCAT, confronting errors in a study material can be frustrating and ultimately making you feel unprepared. I enjoyed the biology section as many other people have but once you get towards the end of the book, the errors just keeps on accumulating. This book dont cover as much Math as I wanted it to, so another Math source is needed. I still recommend getting this book and study it well ahead of time and then try to get other PCAT study materials in conj...

Customer Review: Excellent service and the book was in very good condition. This is a book that was used by the ANCC for a recent pharmacology review and it is the best I've ever found. Highly recommended due to its multiple diagrams that are excellent for educational purposes.

Customer Review: I purchased this book for my first nursing semester pharmacology course. The book is great it has plenty of drug information, tables, and a calculations section, but I did not need it. My instructor's notes were so good that I rarely had to open this book. I ended up selling the book back to Chimes. It was okay for me because it put me to sleep, but I don't want to discourage anyway from getting it.
